Moodboards and creative directions

In , your team gathers and generates image, video and audio references on one canvas, pins the best and locks one creative direction with its palette, type pairing, concept and do and don't. Then the client chooses between directions on a link.

Who uses it
Art directors, designers and the account leads who have to get a direction approved; clients react and choose without an account.
What it replaces
A shared drive full of reference boards, decks and PDFs, each claiming to be current.

  3. 3Pin the bestPins mark what the team liked and guide the next round of generations.
  4. 4Lock a directionAI drafts the concept, type and do and don't from the pins, and a person locks one version.

The board

A canvas for references

Notes, text, link cards, swatches, sections and uploads on one canvas, with align, distribute and find on board.

Boards from a brief

Starting from an approved brief seeds notes, the client's brand kit colours and four first sketches, with the price shown first.

Collaboration

Threaded comments with mentions, live changes for everyone on the board, a board status, duplicate and save as a starting point.

Progress rail

Six steps from collecting to the client's choice, so everyone sees where a board stands.

Generating references

Stills, motion and instrumental audio, each matched to the job.

Generate by job

Ask for a sketch, a finished render, a vector, a short clip or an audio mood. The recommended model, its credit cost and its commercial-use status show before you generate.

Pinned references as guides

Up to six pinned images guide a generation, and a note or image can be wired into a generator as its prompt or first frame.

Edit an area

Paint over what should change and say what goes there; the edit lands as a new image beside the original.

Extend an image

Pick a new shape, from wide to tall, and the scene continues into the new space while the original stays.

Pins and retention

Unpinned generations expire after 30 days by default, and your admins can set the window. What is pinned stays and feeds the direction.

Locking the direction

Palette from pinned images

Colours are extracted from what the team pinned and named; a person assigns each swatch its role.

Concept, type and rules

AI drafts the concept, a type pairing and a do and don't list from the pins, and a person edits and locks one version.

Earlier directions

What the same client agreed before sits beside the board, so a new direction starts from history.

Present and exportClient sees

Presentation mode, a PDF with a rights manifest, palette downloads (ASE, CSS and design tokens) and the palette sent to the brand kit.

The client's choice

Votes and reopening

Your team sees every vote, reaction and note, gets an email when the client chooses, and can reopen a choice.

Control and usage

Model settings

Admins switch each generation and edit model on or off and set a default model per job.

Rights you can see

Each model is tagged for commercial use; exporting anything not cleared needs an explicit acknowledgement first.

Usage in credits

Credits spent by client, board and person over any time window, plus the storage your boards use.

What your client sees

Comments, reactions and presentation mode, with no account.

AI and people

Where AI helps

  • Generating stills, clips and instrumental audio
  • Recommending a model for each job
  • Editing and extending images
  • Drafting the concept, type pairing and do and don't

What people decide

People pin what is good, assign colour roles, lock the direction and decide what the client sees; a refusal from a generation model is shown, never worked around.

Connects with

  • A brief starts a board, and a locked direction guides concepts.

  • A content concept can start a board.

  • Locked and rejected directions are recorded in the client's knowledge.

  • A locked direction becomes an board, and its palette can update the client's brand kit.

  • A board can link to the project it belongs to.
