N°01Glossary
The definitions the suite runs on.
Six terms. Each one sentence you can quote, with both languages. Where stage 05 chose the language, this is where it becomes citable.
- Brief
- A five-field contract: objective, audience, constraint, deliverables, source, that must be checked before the studio starts. Spark*form flags the vague field, not the writer.
- Retainer utilisation
- Committed retainer hours divided by burned hours in the period, shown per client and per project. A utilisation above one means the fee is paying for hours not yet delivered; below one means the scope is eating margin.
- Blended margin
- Fee minus the cost of burned hours at the blended rate, divided by fee. Flow*form recomputes it from fee, committed hours, and blended rate, so a wrong baseline shows as a wrong margin, not a surprise at invoicing.
- Capability coverage
- Which of the four capabilities: strategy, craft, analytics, delivery, a team can field at a given seniority, mapped from the roster in Skill*form. Gaps name the hire or the training, not the title.
- Tool sprawl
- When the same job is paid for in two or more tools because no one holds the inventory. Stack*form surfaces the overlap by owner, cost, and renewal date; the stack-audit tool draws it from numbers you paste.
- Institutional memory
- Client knowledge that survives turnover because an answer carries its sources. Brain*form stores what was agreed, where, and when, with locators precise enough to open the document and check.
